The topic of this work is infinite combinatoric and Ramsey Theory, including some consistency results with the method of forcing. The thesis has two parts which are dealing with independent but deeply related questions. In the first part we construct a model, where the homogeneity number is strictly less than the continuum. The homogenity number is an upper bound for the amount of weakly homogeneous (sort of monochromatic) subsets which is needed to cover the real line. The section concludes with some smaller results in the study of continuous triple colorings of the real line. The second part deals with the graph G-max and continuous colorings on the induced subgraphs of G-max. We give a complete categorization of the possible colorings of closed induced subgraphs in terms of basic Partitions.
Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Arbeit sind die unendliche Kombinatorik und die Ramsey-Theorie, wobei unter anderem einige Konsistenzresultate mit Hilfe von Forcing erzielt werden. Die Arbeit besteht aus zwei Teilen mit jeweils gesonderter aber verwandter Fragestellung. Im ersten Teil wird ein Modell Modell konstruiert, in dem die Homogenitaetszahl, also die Überdeckungszahl fuer stetige Färbungen von Tripeln, echt kleiner als das Kontinuum ist. Dem schliessen sich noch weitere Beobachtungen über stetige Tripelfärbungen reeller Zahlen an. Der zweite Teil befasst sich mit dem Graphen G_max und den stetigen Färbungen auf abgeschlossenen induzierten Subgraphen. Es wird eine komplette Kategorisierung der Färbungen entwickelt, die Existenz grundsätzlicher (basic) Partitionen gezeigt und deren Eigenschaften bewiesen.
