In this thesis, the synthesis, characterization and structure elucidation of new technetium and rhenium complexes are discussed. A first group of reactions with carbonyl and oxo complexes of technetium and rhenium with bis-2-pyridyl(phenyl)phosphine and tris-2-pyridylphosphine shows different reaction patterns depending on the oxidation state of the metal. In a second section, the formation of some phosphoraneimine complexes from reactions of technetium and rhenium compounds with trimethylsilylated phosphoraneiminates is described. P-C bond cleavages and the formation of hydrolysis products are observed during reactions of Me3SiNPPhPy2 and Me3SiNPPy3 with oxo and carbonyl precursors. The products were isolated and characterized crystallographically.
