dc.description.abstract
This dissertation demonstrates the interplay between perceptual and economic decision-making, two fields traditionally studied in isolation. It emphasizes how various forms of uncertainty both enable and necessitate their integration in real-world contexts. The research presented sheds light on the cognitive, computational, and psychophysiological mechanisms underlying this integration, while also exploring individual differences in adaptive behaviour.
