dc.description
• We present a new technique for the treatment of non-sparsely cratered surfaces.
• Technique accounts for loss of small craters due to subsequent crater coverage.
• Correction extends the crater diameter range usable for age extractions.
• CSFDs on lunar highlands seem consistent with the lunar production function.
