dc.description.abstract

dc.description.abstract
The unstable isocyanides diisocyanomethane and isocyanoacetonitrile could be
synthesised via Ugi-synthesis. These compounds were characterised with nmr-
ir- and mass spectra. The crystal structure of diisocyanomethane could be
solved. The coordination chemistry of these isocyanides were studied at
various metal complexes. From diisocyanomethane we were able to isolate
monocoordinated and bridged diisocyanocomplexes with different kinds of metal
atoms. The 2+1-cycloaddition reaction of diisocyanomethane,
isocyanoacetonitrile and pentacarbonyl(diisocyanomethane)chromium with
1,2-bis[tris(trimethylsilyl)methyl]diphosphene were investigated. In order to
study the fluorine substitution effect of geminal functionalised isocyanides
tetrafluoroisocyanoacetonitrile and fluoroisocyanoacetonitrile were
synthesised at the pentacarbonyl-chromium fragment. As a suitable precursor
for difluorodiisocyanomethan, difluorodiisocyanatemethane was synthesised and
detailed characterised. In order to compare the results of the crystal
structure determination with theoretical calculations, ab initio calculations
were carried out for some compounds.
