Abstract:
This working paper presents the results of a representative online experiment conducted by the Disaster Research Unit (DRU) in the WEXICOM III project to test the impact of various warning formats. We examined different degrees of structuring and content, as well as narratives. Not only the effect on the general population but also particularly vulnerable groups of people was relevant.
