Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt die molekulare Bildgebung neuroendokriner
Tumore mittels Ga-68 DOTATOC.
DTPA Octreotide SPECT/CT beleuchtet.
Octreotide birgt. Weiter verbessern lässt sich das Untersuchungsverfahren
durch Kombination mit radiologischen Verfahren wie Kontrastmittel-gestützter
CT und leberspezifischer MRT.

dc.description.abstract
The presented thesis deals with the molecular imaging of neuroendocrine tumors
with Ga-68 DOTATOC. It examines the clinical value of the radioactive tracer
Ga-68 DOTATOC in comparison to the older radioactive tracer In-111 DTPA
Octreotide as well as the potential improvement combining Ga-68 DOTATOC PET
with radiologic methods like contrast enhanced CT and liver-specific MRI.
Moreover, the economic potential of Ga-68 DOTATOC PET/CT in comparison to
In-111 DTPA Octreotide SPECT/CT is investigated. It can be demonstrated that
Ga-68 DOTATOC PET/CT has a great clinical and economical potential compared to
In-111 DTPA Octreotide. The examination procedure can be further ameliorated
in combination with radiologic methods like contrast enhanced CT and liver-
specific MRI.
