DEPRISK Deportation Database

Abstract

The DEPRISK Deportation Database provides annual indicators related to immigration enforcement and deportation practices, including: "Orders to leave the territory"; "Total reported returns"; "Enforced returns"; "Other reported returns"; and "Refusals of entry at the border". The database currently includes bilateral data from over 40 deporting countries, including most OECD countries. Data is obtained from administrative sources in deporting countries, either through published government statistics or data requests. For many of the European countries, we rely on data provided by Eurostat.
