Nachfolgestaaten damaliger Sklaven ermöglichen zu können.","The trans-Atlantic slavery (the trans-Atlantic slave trade and the following slavery in the North American colonies) belongs with her history and the magnitude in suppression, pursuit and murder to the civilisation crimes which the adequate attention has not found out in the western discourse. It is serious that this person-despising trade reached his high point in the 18th century; in that epoch in which Europe stood on the spiritual height of his cultural history. Thus the western concept of civilisation in spite of his positive effect turned out with the humanisation of the person and the social life-style, to the progress of science and technology in Europe, after the borders of Europe or towards non-European people catalyst of suppression and power. Even the western concept of human rights w in spite of his releasing character historically constantly by events: With the „discovery of America“ by Columbus in 1492 the foundation-stone was laid for other civilisation crimes. Then followed the trans-Atlantic slavery, colonialism, racism; and the Genozid to European Jew marked, so to speak, the civilisation break of the 20th century. In the USA the foundation fathers of the American nation were, for example, the same slave holder, in the European colonies the human rights were not valid for the settled in. All these historical events ran counter to the universality postulate of the human rights, because it is the result of an eurozentrischen concept of both western concepts of civilisation and human rights on account of her genesis. Thus appears an enlargement of the western concept of human rights, from which individualistically straightened character to collective rights as the better alternative to be able to allow such a compensation of descendants or succession states of slaves at that time.as avoided.","223 S.","https://refubium.fu-berlin.de/handle/fub188/3738||http://dx.doi.org/10.17169/refubium-7938","urn:nbn:de:kobv:188-fudissthesis000000038967-2","ger","http://www.fu-berlin.de/sites/refubium/rechtliches/Nutzungsbedingungen","Slavery||Human Rights||Civilization||Reparation","300 Sozialwissenschaften::320 Politikwissenschaft","Das Erbe transatlantischer Sklaverei","Zu den notwendigen menschenrechtlichen und zivilisatorischen Folgen heute","The heritage of transatlantic Slavery","On the necessary consequences for human rights and civilzation today","Dissertation","free","open access","Text","Politik- und Sozialwissenschaften","FUDISS_derivate_000000011987","FUDISS_thesis_000000038967"
