Chest X-ray (CXR) revealed a mediastinal mass indicating lymphadenopathy. However, magnetic resonance imaging showed a large plexiform thoracic neurofibroma. CXR performed for TB screening in NF1 patients cannot clearly differentiate lymphadenopathy from thoracic plexiform neurofibroma.
