This work is based on a proof of concept in the aviation industry and fol- lows a Technical Risk & E cacy evaluation strategy to determine the utility derived from the use of the artefact. Relevant tuning parameters for per- formance and scalability as well as bottlenecks are identi ed. The impact of con guration parameters such as blocksize, transaction arrival rate and number of concurrent users on the systems performance is investigated. Ob- servations show that demands at throughput above system limits lead to transaction failures. Contributed are a repeatable process to performance sensitivity analysis and recommendations for con guring a Blockchain-based Certi cation Storage System for stable but high performance. The results can be used as a basis for optimizing the performance of similar systems.","19 S.","https://refubium.fu-berlin.de/handle/fub188/24484.2||http://dx.doi.org/10.17169/refubium-2255.2","urn:nbn:de:kobv:188-refubium-24484.2-7","eng","http://www.fu-berlin.de/sites/refubium/rechtliches/Nutzungsbedingungen","300 Sozialwissenschaften::330 Wirtschaft::330 Wirtschaft||300 Sozialwissenschaften::380 Handel, Kommunikation, Verkehr::380 Handel, Kommunikation, Verkehr","Blockchain||Hyperledger Fabric||Benchmarking||Maintenance Events","Benchmarking a Blockchain-based Certification Storage System","Buch","free","open access","Wirtschaftswissenschaft","yes","2019/5 : Information Systems","Diskussionsbeiträge Fachbereich Wirtschaftswissenschaft"
