y vino a
a rescatarle
a su hijo, ajá, a su hijo

más o menos
there was once a bom-
little bird, a bird with its mother who lived in a tree [that was] very la-
very very tall
in a wood
but because this little bird didn't know
how to find its way, so one day its mom told him
he was to go north
and his mom gave him some things, she gave him peanuts
[an] orange, a compass and a
a flute
so that he can find his way
so he went
and he didn't think that he
going north where in that place there were many thunderstorms
thunderstorms
and that
one day the little bird was caught up in a thunderstorm
and lost all of his luggage
so then the bi- that bird
was alone
and
came upon a house
and saw just that that house
had
the window was open
he went into the house
and saw
that sitting there
next to a piano
was a man, but who is already dead, it was a skull with a hat close to
the piano
so the little bird was too afraid
and he but still he entered and he went and kissed
the skull
and so the skull felt very much
and
because the little bird had given it a kiss, and the skull began to play the piano
and it was very
beautiful the song it played
that the skull was performing, and the little bird's mother heard this
and came to rescue her son
because it had got lost
and they all lived happily ever after" (lit.: coloured goldfinch, the little story is over)
I don't know if I've made a mistake with
and now you're going to tell me what I told you, the story
as I told it to you
with his mom
find his way
he made up his mind to go
north
what did his mom give him?
the compass
brújula [compass]
she gave him oranges and peanuts
yes
he went in
through the win-
with a hat
next to the
piano
yes
her son
yes
till there
what happened?
yes
hm
yes
a flute?
ah
thundersto- ah yeah
poor bird
yes
ooh
right
the skull
the little bird
seriously?
[unintelligible]
really
and now uh now and
more like I'm gonna tell you the bits that I remember
I don't know if I'll remember it all
I do remember that you said there was a
that a little bird
who lived in a very tall tree
with his mom and
after he - he still couldn't fly the little bird
and the mom told him she gave him some things so he could defend himself
so he could find his way, get along, I mean
and then
he made up his mind to go
north
the little bird
and then
he went and
she gave him a flute
and that's what I remember
and then she
la brúcula [sic] [the compass]
and
ah peanuts for food
and well then
he went and went a very strong wind caught him
and he lost all of that
and then
he went and found an abandoned house
something like that is what you said
an abandoned house and there he
foun- saw found a piano, don't know how you said it, and a skull
he went in
through the window
and there was- he found a skull
ah with a hat
the
the piano
ah and you said he gave the skull a kiss
and so the skull felt
and then he began to play the piano
and that little bird's mom heard that, right?
and came to
rescue him
her son, yeah, her son
till there yup
ah right
more or less
